| On arrival on Vlieland your bicycles stand at the ready, which will act as your means of transportation for that day. At the reception we distribute bicycle routes, with which you will cycle through the bushes and the dunes to the Posthuys. During the bicycle excursion you can climb the lighthouse from where you have a superb view of the island and the neighboring islands of Texel and Terschelling. And with the view enjoy a typical Vlielander herbal liquor!! A toast to the long climb down!!! At the Posthuys, the Vliehors Expres (with a large 4WD truck) takes you out on the largest sand plain of the Netherlands and sometimes we can see seals of very up close. Lunch is served at the nostalgic rescue cabin. Active and fun: An hour long beach racing with beach buggies, the sand and wind in your face! Afterwards, a workshop in Power Kiting and the beginnings of Archery. By lack of wind the kiting is replaced with beach golf. Everything under the guidance of professionals. Of course there are plenty of refreshments. |
