Sailing and good whine are great company. An evening of whine tasting is an excellent network opportunity but also great for family outings or company outings. |

That is why we now offer the possibility to extend your package with an onboard whine tasting. For only €10 per person extra you can become an amateur sommelier. Stimulation of the senses Whine is not just for pouring down. Whine should be experienced with all your senses! You see whine, smell whine, taste whine. On the water your senses come to life a little more, enticed by the sun, wind and sea. In about two hours you will taste a maximum of 10 different whines and you are thought the basic principles serving and tasting of whine. Every contestant receives a form to practice making notes and a pamphlet with more information about whine makers, whine country and the whines. Sommelier Your sommelier for the evening is non other than Henk Lamboo from the DemoMeesters, a highly acclaimed sommelier and whine merchant. He will bring the Spy Valley Pinot Noir 2007, a low cost whine that was proclaimed Best Value Marlborough whine by international sommeliers. If the weather allows we have the tasting during the sailing, otherwise we wait for a better opportunity. |
